Popis: A bolt-clamped Langevin type ultrasonic transducer having a square radiating surface was studied in relationship between amplitude distribution on the radiating surface and front-block size. A chamfered transducer with a 45 mm square surface showed uniform vibration amplitude distribution on its radiating surface. An immersible ultrasonic cleaner installed with optimized transducers was verified in terms of sound pressure in water.
