SPATIO-TIME DISTRIBUTION OF NO2-, NO3-, NH4+ ECOTOXICANTS IN THE WATER OF THE MOUNTAIN MALKA RIVER IN 2020 AND 2021

Popis: As a result of monthly observations, the change in the concentrations of ecotoxicants in the water of the river was studied. Malka (Kabardino-Balkarian Republic), represented by a group of NO2-, NO3-, NH4+, from the middle mountains to the low-mountain zone, formed under the influence of climatic natural and anthropogenic sources. Pollutants nitrites and ammonium ions were detected from January to September in 2020 and from March to November in 2021, and data on their content in a changing climate were obtained. The interannual variability of pollutant concentrations and their spatial and temporal distribution in the water of the Malka River from the territory of the middle mountains to the low mountains in the studied periods are considered. An assessment of water pollution by ecotoxicants was carried out at a distance of 100 km from the initial territory of the middle reaches to the lower outlet of the river to the plain. An assessment of the ecological classes of the quality of land surface waters is given and the excess of the concentration level over the MPC level is shown. The results of the study are presented in the figures in the form of diagrams.
