The political orientation of the GOELRO Commission members engaged in the development and implementation of the country's electrification program is considered. The social status of I. G. Alexandrov, B. E. Vedeneev, A. V. Vinter, G. O. Graftio, G. M. Krzhizhanovsky and other outstanding power engineers is investigated.. Attention is paid to the industry as a whole, and its most important structural and technological subsystems: design, construction, installation, operation and repair of equipment in the heat, hydro and electricity. The analysis of life and activity of energy elite is executed in the context of the largest events in the history of the country. Materials of archives, branch periodicals, scientific monographs and memoirs are used as a source base. |
