Structural and electrical properties of sodium bismuth titanate prepared by solid state reaction method

Popis: Sodium Bismuth Titanate (NBT) is a good lead-free piezoelectric material comparative to other Lead based materials. Using solid state reaction method, Na0.6Bi0.4TiO3 (NBT) nano powder has been prepared by giving different temperature from 200 °C to 800 °C. The structural analysis has been carried out using X-ray diffraction method and found that the structure of the compound material is monoclinic. Surface morphology has been studied by Scanning Electron Microscope. EDXA is used to determine the concentration of each element of the compound. Using LCR meter, dielectric properties of the compound material prepared at 600 °C and 800 °C have been studied. I-V characteristic of the compound material has been studied using I-V characteristic instrument.
