Popis: | Cryptographic keys used in encryption algorithms face the disadvantages of difficulty in key management especially when it comes to keys generation, sharing, and storage. In this article, using gray level co-occurrence matrix, a textured image is partitioned into regions and textural features were extracted to produce a maximum of 120 bits cryptographic keys. Results showed that by manipulating neighboring pixels, suitable keys of varying lengths and patterns could be generated. The same key used for encryption can be reproduced consistently; this will provide a reliable and flexible method of key generation, sharing, and storage. |
