Superconductivity for potassium doped BaPb0.80Bi0.20O3-δ and BaPb0.60Bi0.40O3-δ with zero electrical resistivity at ∼11 K

Popis: | The perovskites Ba1−xKxPb0.8Bi0.2O3-δ and Ba1−xKxPb0.6Bi0.4O3-δ (0.0 ≤ x ≤ 0.4) have been synthesized by traditional solid state method in air. They all crystallize in P1 space group. The magnetic susceptibility measurement exhibits the Meissner effect below ∼12 K for Ba1−xKxPb0.6Bi0.4O3-δ when x = 0.4. The electrical resistivity of this compound dropped sharply near ∼12 K, and becomes zero at ∼11 K. |
