Cepstral (MFCC) Feature and Spectral (Timbral) Features Analysis for Musical Instrument Sounds

Popis: In this paper, Cepstral i.e. MFCC feature extraction of Musical Instrument sound is done. 13 MFCC coefficients are extracted & analyzed and found the appropriate coefficient required for Musical Instrument Identification. Similarly, Spectral (timbral) features of Musical Instrument Sounds are extracted using Music Information Retrieval (MIR) toolbox 1.6. After extracting the features, they are analyzed and found appropriate timbral features required for Musical Instrument Identification.
