Popis: | An experimental study is done on the evolution of the coherence radius and the intensity fluctuation spectra in time after the transit of a laser pulse through a cell containing an absorbing liquid. The phase front of the radiation up to the nonlinear medium is distorted by a phase plate. It is observed that the fluctuations in the pulse first decrease and then increase as a function of increasing energy. A theoretical interpretation of the observed effects is given. |
