Using a mathematical model, which is implemented in the Somsol Multiphysics software package, the electromechanical characteristics of multi-armature electromechanical converters of impact-force action (ECIA) are obtained. Compared to the basic converter with one massive electrically conductive armature (MEA), the converter with MEA and coil armature (CA) increases the force amplitude by 1.46 times and the magnitude of the force impulse by 2.09 times. Using the efficiency criterion, which takes into account electrical, force and magnetic indicators, it is shown that an ECIA with two MEA and CA is 3-5 times more effective than the basic ECIA. Experimental studies of the ECIA were carried out while simultaneously measuring the current and temperature in the inductor winding, the impact force of the striker and the induction of the stray magnetic field. A model of a magnetic-pulse press for ceramic powders was tested on the basis of a converter with an MEA and a ferromagnetic armature (FA). It was found that impact pressing using a magnetic-pulse press, in comparison with static pressing, increases the density by 20%, reduces water absorption by 73% and increases the mechanical strength by 5.3 times of ceramic samples. |
