Popis: | The specific heat of the KTiOPO4 crystal has been measured with a vacuum adiabatic calorimeter within the 80–300 K range. A peak-shaped anomaly in the specific heat indicating a phase transition has been revealed in the Cp (T) curve at T≅279 K. Numerical integration of smoothened experimental Cp (T) curves yielded the thermodynamic functions of KTiOPO4, namely, the entropy, enthalpy, and reduced Gibbs energy. The entropy and enthalpy of the observed transition have been determined. |
