Some new cedrane derivatives from Juniperus foetidissima willd

Popis:	The sesquiterpene oxide C15H24O from Juniperus foetidissima Willd. has been characterized and shown to be a cedrane derivative, 8,14-cedranozide (I). The new cedrane derivatives 8,14-cedranoxide (II), 8S,14-cedranediol (III) and 8-cedren-13-ol (X) have been isolated from the same species. The configuration of cedrolic acid2,8S-hydroxycedrane-13-carboxylic acid (VIII), 1 has been determined.
