Popis: | The conventional method of taking meter reading is that the operator has to visit each site to take the images of the meter and then feed to their system. This task can be minimized by using an Automated meter reading system, using image processing technique the meter reading can be deduced from the image. A raspberry pi Module with camera connected to it will be used to capture the images of the meter and then compute those images, it can work on real time scenarios and at the instant when image is taken, the Region of Interest will be defined and meter reading will be extracted and uploaded to the server from where it can be accessed and displayed on User Interface. |
