Popis:	An exposure of sandstone, interbedded with shale, occurs on the banks of Lang Creek, south of Powell River, and some 112 km north of Vancouver. This deposit, hitherto considered Tertiary in age, has yielded plant remains which are definitely Upper Cretaceous.A second deposit consisting of conglomerate underlain by sandstone occurs north of Powell River, but is essentially unfossiliferous.
