Popis: | One of the most important causes that lead to fault in the case of induction motors is rotor eccentricity which causes the unbalanced magnetic pull that leads to an increase in the noise level of the machine and a shorter lifespan of the motor through excessive wear and tear of the components. In this paper, the authors present the differences between a motor with no eccentricity and the same motor with 15% static eccentricity in terms of the amplitude and frequency spectrum of the magnetic forces generated. A 1.5 kW, 1000 rpm, squirrel cage induction motor is analyzed and the influence of eccentricity on the noise level of the machine is shown. |
