Publisher Summary C-XSC is a tool for the development of numerical algorithms delivering highly accurate and automatically verified results; it provides a large number of predefined numerical data types and operators. These types are implemented as C++ classes. Thus, C-XSC allows high-level programming of numerical applications in C and C++. The C-XSC package is available for all computers with a C++ compiler translating the AT&T language standard 2.0. Some of the most important features of C-XSC are real, complex, interval, and complex interval arithmetic with mathematically defined properties, dynamic vectors and matrices, subarrays of vectors and matrices, error handling, standard functions of high accuracy, and predefined arithmetic operators with highest accuracy. The advanced user can extend the C-XSC system by using object-oriented C++ programming features. C-XSC provides tools to achieve full numerical result compatibility in the sense of interval mathematics. |
