Popis:	A number of polyhalogenoalkyl-containing phosphonates with an enaminone core were synthesized from readily available β-alkoxyvinyl polyhalogenoalkyl ketones by successive bromination, amination, and Arbuzov reaction. The new phosphonates were used for the syntheses of five- and six-membered heterocycles bearing both trifluoromethyl and methylenephosphonate groups.
