Popis:	Return Voltage Measurements (RVM) are widely used for the diagnosis of paper-oil insulated hv-cables. The diagnostic parameter is the p-factor. It will be shown, that applying a different evaluation method, the identical measurement procedure can be used to diagnose hv-power transformers. In this case the r-factor is the meaningful parameter.
