High-resolution direct numerical simulations of incompressible turbulence with Taylor-scale Reynolds number up to 2250 show that there exists a scaling-range (approximately $100lr/\ensuremath{\eta}l400$), in which the two-point second order velocity structure functions fit well to a simple power law scaling with respect to the distance $r$ between the two points, where $\ensuremath{\eta}$ is the Kolmogorov length scale. However, the prefactor of the power law depends on the Reynolds number. |
