Popis:	It is the objective of the present contribution to assign signals received from nondestructive testing to microscopical observation in order to compare the results obtained from ultra sonic measurements, the vibration analysis, fotogrammatical strain gauge and assessment of crack contribution. The agreement or disagreement of the methods are explained by showing their possibilities and limits. Within the scope of the collaborative research program 381 the combination of real damage and non destructive signals provides a basis for numerical modelling of damage development in composite materials.
