Popis: | In laser-plasma interaction, the electronic temperature can be deduced from the intensity ratio of X-ray lines emitted by highly ionized atoms. Reabsorption of these lines can modify these ratios. We calculate here the intensities of helium-like and hydrogen-like lines in a homogeneous absorbing plasma. Calculations are performed using a realistic line profile including Stark and Doppler broadening for several elements from neon to argon. We also present the results of escape-factor calculations which can be used in detailed atomic level population models. |
