Popis: | In this article TORVEastro, a three-link astronaut robot, is presented with a conceptual design that is used also for a CAD design in performance simulations. This TORVEastro robot is designed for service applications in space stations. Requirements and characteristics are discussed with the aim to identify design problems and operation features. A study of feasibility is discussed through performance evaluation by using kinematics and dynamics simulations whose results show the feasibility of TORVEastro robot operation and its peculiarities. |
