Outer Space Monitoring System: Purpose, Tasks, Structure and approaches to trajectory processing

Popis: The paper presents a important aspect of effective applying of spacecraft and information from them in security interests. It is situational awareness about near-Earth space environment and its changing. Outer space monitoring is possible only with special systems. These systems are geographically distributed complexes of heterogeneous observation means which are consistently joined by common control and information processing post. The outer space monitoring system is one of the strategic state systems that has clearly expressed dual application (military and economical) and intended for continuous tracking of all observable humanmade space objects in near-Earth space environment and foreign countries space exploration activity. Finally, the issues of the development of algorithms for the processing of data from national measuring means of space control - radar and optical, are considered. The estimations of the correctness of trajectory processing are given.
