Popis: 150 Chilton St., Cambridge, MA 02138‐1227 Early in his architectural acoustics consulting career, Theodore Schultz reasoned that an acoustical test source comprised of real music was the ultimate method for true objective evaluation of listening spaces for music. A musical composition that incorporated chords designed by Ted to test the acoustics of a concert hall will be discussed by the composer. An audio recording of the work will be played. Other reminiscences of acoustical interactions between Schultz the scientist/musician that contributed to the work of Pinkham the musician/composer will be discussed.
