| Popis: | This paper reviews the methods used in the assessment of the integrity of steel reactor pressure vessels of the type used in PWR power reactors. It gives particular attention to the fracture mechanics methodology, the input information needed, recent developments in knowledge on material properties, assessments of inspection reliability. Examples are quoted especially from recent U.K. work in this field. |
