Using data from two German cohorts in the mid-1980s and 2010s, we aim to predict (yet unseen) adult IQ scores for VLBW children born in the 2010s through the prediction models developed from the mid-1980s cohort. The prediction models will enable policymakers to make projections of likely outcomes for current cohorts. The information will help to predict adverse outcomes at the individual level, identify risk and protective factors to improve the development for children born VLBW nowadays. |
