Popis:	Water-soluble cytochrome c was readily solubilized in methanol by addition of several crown ethers, and the resulting complexes catalyzed oxidation of pinacyanol chloride with hydrogen peroxide more effectively than polyethylene glycolated cytochrome c in the organic solvent.
