Popis: | Three new marasmane sesquiterpenes, russulanigrins A–C ( 1 – 3 ), and a new normarasmane, russulanigrin D ( 4 ), together with six known sesquiterpenes, 5 , 6 , isolactarorufin ( 7 ), 8 , lactarorufin A ( 9 ), and 10 , were isolated from fruiting bodies of the edible mushroom Russula nigricans . The structures were elucidated on the basis of NMR spectroscopic and mass spectrometry data. Compounds 4 , 5 , and 7 were inactive in several biological assays: anti-bacterial ( Bacillus cereus and Enterococcus faecium ), anti-mycobacterial ( Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Ra), anti-plasmodial ( Plasmodium falciparum K1), and anti-fungal ( Candida albicans ) activities, and cytotoxicity to cancer cell-lines (KB, MCF-7, and NCI-H187). |
