Popis: Flavivirus infections induce a series of molecular disturbances in the host organism and may cause severe illness and death. Systems immunology represents a holistic way to better understand the behavior and the dynamic interactions of components of the immune system under different immunological perturbations. In this chapter, we described the systems immunology studies applied to understand the molecular mechanisms of flavivirus infections, including those caused by Zika, yellow fever, dengue, or West Nile viruses. By providing a topological view of the immune system’s response to flavivirus infections, systems immunology can pave the way toward developing new therapeutic strategies.
