Popis: | The electronic structure and energetics of neutral lithium-ammonia clusters are described by floating Gaussian orbitals and compared to the corresponding cationic and anionic species. The results show the competition of lithium and ammonia for loosely bound electrons. Conclusions are drawn regarding the structure of lithium-ammonia solutions and the motion of electrons under STM conditions. |
