The article gives analyses on modern scientific research in thefield of formation anddevelopment of informational-analytical competence in the theory and practice of pedagogicalscience. The attempts on correlation of the informational and analytical component in the structureof the investigated competence were determined on the basis of literary data analysis.Informational-analytical competence of the future Biology teacher is the combination ofinformational-analytical knowledge, skills, competences, experience of analytical activity andpersonal characteristics of specialist, that provides the possibilities for search, collection, andanalyzing, critical evaluation, processing and transmitting information to realize professionalfunction in the educational process. The analysis of modern approaches to future Biology teachertraining allows us to define the following main functions in the educational process of secondaryschool: informational, creative,orientation, mobilization, constructive and communicative, organizational and research. All the functions are closely connected; they give additional meaningand specify each other. In our opinion, the realization of informative function takes up the leadingplace that in its turn is realized through the development of informational and analyticalcompetence.  |
