Popis: | A technique for measuring relative sound velocity changes using a frequency variable type ultrasonic correlation system in which introducing a frequency multiplication method is described. The experiment with water as a standard liquid sample was demonstrated to examine the performance of the system. Experimental results showed that the frequency compensation method together with the frequency multiplication method was useful to enhance the resolution of sound velocity change. With this system, a maximum resolution of sound velocity change better than 2 ppm has been attained. |
