Popis: The objective purpose of applying mathematical planning of the experiment in modeling the porosity of plasma coatings is shown. Regression equations were obtained experimentally that allow controlling the main properties of applied coatings depending on the conditions of the plasma deposition process, and an empirical relationship was established linking the porosity and mechanical strength of alumina coatings.
