Effect of deformation and annealing on texture parameters of composite Cu–Nb wire

Popis: The effect of drawing ratio and intermediate annealing on the texture of in situ Cu–Nb composites has been investigated by X-ray analysis and inverse pole figures. The fibre texture with 〈1 1 0〉Nb axis develops in Nb filaments at cold drawing. Cu matrix possesses two-component texture, 〈1 1 1〉Cu and 〈1 0 0〉Cu, appreciably affected by intermediate annealing. Dynamic recovery and recrystallization have been found in the Cu matrix of composites cold-drawn without additional intermediate annealing.
