VEGFA expression by DBA+ uNK cells was estimated by fluorescence photobleaching at w1.4x lower in Ahr-/and w1.3x greater in Ncr1Gfp/Gfp compared to B6. The fetal resorption rate was mildly elevated in Ncr1Gfp/Gfp. Conclusion: These data support the hypothesis that triggering of MHCindependent activation receptors by as yet undefined endogenous ligands contributes to the final steps of uNK cell maturation and to normal uNK cell functions during pregnancy.
