Popis: | Evaluation of left ventricular performance by ST1 measurements has been reported (1). However, practical use of this technical measurement, entails certain difficulties that have limited its use (2). The sound signal and the plethysmographic carotid pulse curve lack precision. The placement of different sensors as well as sound recording of the signals is not easy, and reproducibility of the results is difficult to obtain. This paper proposes a new technique for ST1 measurement based on automatic and simultaneous recording of ECG and aortic Doppler blood velocity measurement signals. |
