Popis: | A Fourier summation technique applied to X-ray diffraction profiles of AgI and NaI peaks obtained from collected seeding aerosols has resulted in a measurement of particle size and stored anelastic strain. The particle sizes varied from 0.053 to 0.127 μ diameter with a composite value of 0.085 μ. On the average, more strain was stored in AgI from isopropylamine carrier solutions than from acetone solutions involving sodium iodide. |
