Popis:	The interhalogen molecular crystal iodine-monobromide has been found to undergo the molecular dissociation at 39±2 GPa, where the I–Br bond length becomes equal to the nearest intermolecular distance so that a new monoclinic lattice is formed in its high-pressure phase.
