Popis: | Absorption, emission and lifetimes have been measured in the visible and the infrared region of Pr3+-doped glasses of composition: 35BaS–20ZnS–45GeS2. Decays were found non-exponential for both the 1 D 2 and 1 G 4 levels. The 1 D 2 decays could be fitted with the Inokuti–Hirayama model. For 1 G 4, a first e-folding time as low as 38 μs was found because of the presence of OH− impurities within the glass. |
