The modern stage in the development of society is characterized by the practical introduction of digital technologies in many areas of life. The aim of the article is to research information and analytical support for the analysis of digital economy development both in the Russian Federation and abroad. The article reveals methodological approaches of international organizations in forming a system of indicators. Results: 1. The chronology of development and implementation of the main regulatory documents, on the basis of which data are collected by countries and compared, is considered. 2. An analysis of Russia’s place in ratings compiled by various international organizations is presented. 3. The system of indicators of the national system of monitoring of development of digital economy reflecting factors of development of information society and use of information and communication technologies (ICT) is presented. 4. The index of ICT development in the regional context for 2014–2018 was calculated and analyzed in dynamics. |
