Popis: | The effect of ozone on the wettability of filament fiber spunbond polypropylene nonwoven fabric was studied by the contact angle method. The contact angles of wetting with water decreased from 127 to 115 ° after pressed samples of spunbond material were treated for 240 min with ozone at a concentration of 25 g/m3. The result can be explained by an increase in the number of polar C–O groups in the surface layer of the ozone-treated fibers, as determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. |
