Popis: DIROlab is a MeVisLab based software and application environment for evaluation of study data originating from innovative imaging techniques and radiotherapy. We present the DIROlab concept with special emphasis on workflow adaption, automatic preprocessing, multimodal image visualization and, as a proof of principle, the interface to radiotherapy. Based upon the DIROlab system, software assistants are realized that help combine and assess information from comprehensive clinical studies to gain a better understanding of the clinical relevance, the sensitivity, and the specificity of selected imaging techniques for given entities and diseases, especially to appraise their value for therapy optimization or prediction of therapy success.
