Popis:	Detailed chemical investigation of the secondary metabolites from the extract of the leaves of Crataegus pinnatifida led to the isolation of 12 monoterpene and sesquilignan compounds, including a new monoterpene, pinnatifidanoid A (1), a new sesquilignan, pinnatifidanin A (12). To our knowledge, this is the first report of the presence of compounds 1–12 in this genus.
