Excited states of Ag107

Popis: The decay of 6.5h Cd107 has been studied with an iron-free double-focusing beta-spectrometer, scintillation spectrometers and coincidence techniques. Twenty-one gamma transitions are found to occur between states in Ag107 with the following energies (keV), spins and parities: 0( 1 2 − ), 93( 7 2 + ) , 126( 9 2 + ), 325( 3 2 − ), 423( 5 2 − ), 787( 3 2 −? ), 922( 5 2 + ), 949( 3 2 −? ), 1142( 5 2 − ) and 1222( 3 2 + ) . The four positive parity states are interpreted as arising from various couplings of the ( g 9 2 ) −3 proton configuration. Five of the negative parity states appear to be due to coupling of a p 1 2 proton to the (0+) ground state and the first and second (2+) excited states of the even core.
