The composition and structure of aliphatic linear block-copolyamides, obtaiin by copolycondensation in the melt of oligoamides of ϵ-caprolactam and ω-dodecalacam with reactive terminal groups are studied by 13C NMR. It is shown that on synthesis of block-copolyamides, inter-chain exchange occurs as well as polycondensation of terminal groups, resulting in a decrease in length of the original blocks. A linear relation is established between the chain irregularity factor and melting points of the polyamides. |
