Popis: | It is shown that the mechanism of radiation crosslinking of the rubber SKN-26 not containing additives in vacuo at room temperature is chiefly made up of processes of intermolecular cyclization with the participation of the vinyl, trans -vinylene and nitrile groups. The protection of SKN-26 with aromatic secondary amines comes about in two stages. In the first most effective stage there is migration of the polymer “hole” to the double bond present at the α-carbon atom of the naphthyl ring of the amine. The π-bond opens and one of its electrons passes to the “hole” as a result of which the amine attaches to the rubber and arrests the processes of cyclization and crosslinking of SKN-26. At the second stage protection results from the scattering of the energy of electron excitation by the attached additive. |
