Popis: Aim-Background The aim of this manuscript is to prove the safety and efficacy of the totally implantable venous access ports (TIVAPs). Patients with cancer can benefit from TIVAPs as far as the administration of chemotherapy is concerned. We describe the technique of Port-A-Cath (PAC) placement by puncture of the subclavian vein with ultrasonographic guidance (US).
