Popis:	This chapter explores the global origins of World War II by looking at the widespread crisis that followed 1918, both political, economic and ideological in origin. The coming of war was not simply a result of Hitler and German revisionism, but resulted from complex issues in East Asia, the Mediterranean and in Europe. Among these issues the economic crisis of 1928–32 was critical, paving the way for the ambitions of Japan, Italy and Germany to overturn the existing geopolitical order.
