Popis: | The goal of the paper is to contribute toward bridging this gap by developing the new idea of a framework for an integrated multi-layer decision-making and the Physical Internet methodology. Proposed framework explores the functional aspects of the operational problems of City Logistics system and relates to optimisation problems. These functionalities are realised by the hierarchical functional structure and are characterised by different tasks specifications. The proposed framework will be the basis for providing better integration and cooperation between city logistics entities and higher utilisation level of logistic infrastructure. A proposed approach based on four major premises: integration, intelligence environmental and economic, which is the combination of modern ideas for freight transportation in cities. Considerations are summarised by practical example which presents information and decisions flows within proposed framework. |
