Popis: | The inheritance for allozymes of amylase (AMY), fumarase (FUM), leucine aminopeptidase (LAP), malate dehydrogenase (MDH), and superoxide dismutase (SOD) was determined by electrophoretic analysis of specimens from laboratory colonies of the boll weevil, Anthonomus grandis Boheman. Comparison of P1 and corresponding F1 zymograms provided evidence of codominant alleles segregating at autosomal loci for AMY, FUM, LAP, and MDH. Both ME and SOD were monomorphic. A new allele is described and further genetic evidence for the inheritance of aspartate aminotransferase (AAT) is presented. |
