A multi-band metasurface has been proposed. Simulated and experimental absorption characteristics of the designed metasurface are studied. We demonstrate that the proposed metasurface can realize multi-band resonant absorption and high quality factor. The refractive index sensing performance of the metasurface is also investigated. The results show that the operating frequency of resonant absorption peaks shifts linearly with the refractive index of analytes increasing, which indicates that the designed multi-band metasurface can be applied for refractive index sensing. |
